Dr. Richard Bennett

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Richard Bennett as one of our new providers.

Dr. Richard Bennett attended Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1986. He went on to work at Cincinnati Foot Clinic until 1987. He worked as a rotating podiatric resident at West Side VA for the next year, then transferred to South Suburban Foot Clinic in Illinois where he worked for the next 15 years. He was a surgical resident at John Cochran VA in St. Louis, Missouri from 2005-2006 where he completed rotations, supervised, and trained four-year podiatry students. In 2008 he decided it was time to have a clinic of his own and opened Gold Coast Foot Clinic for the next 10 years. In 2018 Dr. Bennett, his wife and their 2 chihuahuas decided it was time to relocate and moved down to Hot Springs, AR, where he worked for Healthy Connections until 2024.

 

 

 

 

 

Katherine Batson, APRN


Meet Katherine (Katie) Batson, APRN. Katie attended University of Central Arkansas College of Nursing for her bachelor degree and University of Arkansas Medical Sciences College of Nursing for her Masters. Since graduation she has worked at Arkansas Children's Hospital, Access Medical Clinic in Jonesboro, AR, Ochsner LSU Urgent Care Shreveport, LA. She and her family returned home to Little Rock, AR in 2021, while she was working as Director of Nursing at Turn-Key Health Clinics. She decided to join the Washburn Foot and Ankle family in 2024.
